Believe it or not we have come to the end of the month of November. I hope that your Thanksgiving Holiday was enjoyable and filled with the company of loved ones. My daughter prepared Thanksgiving dinner for us. She works as a chef in Atlanta so our dinner had some pleasant, delicious surprises. December ushers in the Christmas Holiday complete with the sounds of bells and carolers. Make plans to Bless somone in need this Christmas.

*Sunday, November 27th was Youth Sunday. The Youth did an amazing job of reading scriptures, being accolytes and joyfully singing praises to God. Pastor August’s Sermon scripture came from the book of Luke 23:44. It was entitled: Are You Ready? Rev. August shared that in order to be ready for Jesus’ Return we must learn to be alert/watchful and faithful/loyal, as it relates to God’s Word. We can not hide from God.

*Earlier this month FFA Vice-President, Cheyann Touchstone, placed 1st in a lesson competition at Ben's Ford Christian School. Good Job!
*The Music Department will be presenting a Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 6th @ 6pm, in the gym. Come out and enjoy an evening of Holiday Music, while supporting the school with your presence. Admission is Free.
*VHS Class of 1990 Alumni Kim Lewis recognized the three Seniors for their Citizenship, Leadership, and Character on and off Campus. Jeremiah Eugin, Ja'Quan Newkirk, and Brent Dunn all received monetary awards. Congatulations young men and keep up the good work!
