February is here! Some of the numerous celebrations that occur in the month of February are the following: National Black History Month, Valentine’s Day, Frederick Douglas’ Birthday, Pres. Abraham Lincoln’s Birthday, Mardi Gras,etc. Hopefully many of you will have the opportunity to enjoy and/or even participate in some of these activities. Enjoy the rest of your week.

*Youth Service is scheduled for Sunday, February 12th @ 3pm. All are invited and welcome to attend.
First MBC (Varnado):
The church will have a “Super Sunday” potluck lunch fellowship, after worship service on Sunday, February 12th. *Worship begins at 9:30am and all are welcomed to attend. Bring your favorite dish to share.
First United Pentecostal Church (Varnado):
*Prayer Meeting on February 14th and 28th @ 7 p.m. *Kids Prayer hour from 12pm to 1pm daily. *Then will you call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. (Jeremiah 29:12)

*The Krewe of Unity Royal Court visited VHS last week. Principal, Dr. Warren welcomed the following listed Royalty:

All will be featured in the Bogalusa MCCA Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023.
*The Annual Valentine's Dance will be held at the school on Friday, Feb.10th 7:30pm-10:00pm for Jr. High and Saturday, Feb.11th 8:30pm-11:00pm for High School. The theme is: "Love is in the Air". Contact the office for additional information at (985)732-2025.
