Those freezing temperatures earlier this week made us dress in layers, bring in wood for heaters/fireplaces and switch the thermostat from AC to heat. Now we’re back to experiencing warmer weather. Take precautions that will help you to continue to be well. Good health is more easily maintained when we listen to our bodies and address symptoms early. In the words of Benjamin Franklin, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.

Reflections:
*The lasting and immediate effects of apologizing are worth considering and applying. A good old fashioned apology is not outdated and can work wonders. Recently through a misconception on my part about a matter, I disagreed with someone who was trying to explain a process to me. After hearing the same process explained to me the same way by someone else (for the second time), I went back to the first person and APOLOGIZED. I said, “I owe you an apology for having closed eyes, ears and mind”. I further added that I was not able to receive their instructions because of my preconceived/misinformed train of thought. Then I simply said I was SORRY and I truly was. This person then proceeded to help me with a smile on their face, gently explaining in detail how I should go about completing my task. Thank God for people who exercise “Patience”. #I’mGrateful
