I had the pleasure of attending the Council on Aging Annual Senior Citizen Picnic on April 21st. It was one of the most relaxing times that I have had in a while, considering a recent life-changing experience that I’m adjusting to. Greetings from old friends, former coworkers, neighbors, community leaders and many others were in abundance. Needless to say I enjoyed myself as I intentionally went about “relationship-building”. My relationship with Jesus helps me to see Him in others and I gladly embrace this concept. #LoveOneAnother

*The Evangelism Committee sponsored a free “Clothes Closet Giveaway” on Saturday, April 22nd. I attended and received not only clothes but great conversation. A member asked if there was anything that desired prayer for and I immediately dropped my bag stating, “I am not going to turn down prayer”. I went out today with an attitude of asking, seeking, knocking and in return It was given unto me, I found encouragement and the invitation for prayer was opened unto me.
