*Communion Sunday Service was held on August 12th. The scripture lesson was from Matthew 14:25, with the sermon entitled “When In The Storm''. Pastor August shared the following things we should remember when the storms of life occur: Jesus Is There, Jesus will take care of His children, Jesus can do the impossible, God’s Power allows us to do anything and everything and Keep your eyes on Jesus!

*The burial and repast for Mr. Clyde Rayford was held on Saturday, August 12th. Sincere condolences are extended to the family.
First Missionary Baptist Church (FMBC):
*On August 6th the “Blessing of the Backs” was held for students. Special Prayer was said for bus drivers, teachers, administration and everyone.

*Open House is scheduled for Monday, August 21st @ 6pm. A meeting for seniors is scheduled before Open House @ 5:30pm.
Reflections:
*I had the opportunity to be of service to someone last week. While approaching my job site I noticed a lady walking. She appeared to be dressed for work, name tag on, purse over her shoulder and walking with her head down. I prayed then pulled into my work site, made a U-Turn then proceeded to offer this lady a ride. She gladly accepted. I dropped her off at work, she thanked me and I returned to my job site with 10 minutes to spare. #PrayThenHelp (Luke 10:25-37)
