This is the season and in fact every season is the perfect time to express “Thankfulness”. We should either continue to be “Thankful” or begin to practice being “Thankful”. God is just simply too good to us for us to keep silent.

Live Oak UMC:
*On Communion Sunday/Nov. 5th, Pastor August’s sermon was about the “Beatitudes” mainly Matthew 5:2b and was entitled :Christ the “Great Teacher”. He shared that the Beatitudes are telling us how to be Blessed and happy by following God’s rules. In order to have God bestow His Blessings upon us we should do the following: Love God, Live the Golden Rule, Communicate sincerely with God (Talk to God) and Freely Forgive Others. Amen.
Mt. Zion MBC (Varnado):
*The church held a “Free Clothes & Home Goods Giveaway on Saturday, Nov. 4th. They have hosted this event several times this year to clothe and pray for all. Many thanks to members of Mt. Zion for addressing the needs of the community.
Mary’s Chapel UMC:
