*I’ve been thinking about the longevity of some of the friendships I have been fortunate enough to acquire, in this present life. Though my acquaintances outnumber them, they do not out-perform them when it comes to loyalty. One particular friend comes to mind, who lives in Northern Louisiana. We keep in touch throughout each month through calls and texts. When we talk it is as if we see each other. Because of our consistent and open communication we have been able to comfort one another during the loss/death of each of our husbands; mine in 2022 and hers this month and year (Feb. 2024). Distance does not have to weaken or diminish a friendship if both parties love enough. Continue to love one another more and more each day.
*I recently had the opportunity to attend a workshop on Evangelism, in Tickfaw LA. Another of my faithful friends, Dr. Margret Wheeler, was the facilitator. I learned a lot and enjoyed meeting new people. It is always helpful to me when I visit other church congregations to learn, share and fellowship with them. This was an awesome time in the Lord!
