*My husband and I attended a “New Year’s Celebration” on New Year’s Eve, to ring in the new year. Bishop A. D. Spikes the Pastor of New Beginning Ministries hosted this spirited-filled event that included two powerful speakers. The theme was: The Year of Unity & Voice.
First Baptist Church (Varnado):
*The Winterjam dates are Jan 14-15, 2022 and the theme is: Outcasts - Outsiders Welcome. Winterjam is an overnight stay at Camp Glenwood in Folsom. The guest speaker scheduled for this session is Bro. Rusty Teer, Missionary to Thailand.

*The Rayburn Correctional Center in Angie, LA held their Annual Employee Awards Ceremony and recognized the following employees: The Secretary’s Award of Excellence / Stephanie Buhrer, , Master Sgt. Joseph Branch, and Linda Sandifer. Receiving the Distinguished Service Award was Lt. Johnny Hill.
