Hello there! I hope all of you are doing well.
Last Sunday at Bethel's Church there was a baby christening service, a Black history program, and a visit by the mayor and his wife.
Pastor Elder Alvin Partman Sr. did a talk on many who became the first person being a Black person doing that time. Mr. Gregory said we have many in Washington Parish including himself who made the first Black mayor of Franklinton. He is very thankful to God.
The Men of Sweet Rest Church came to Bethel church to sing Songs of Zion with the Bethel men's choir. It was a lively choir. There was a full house on Sunday, February 26. The pastor preached a very good sermon from the Old Testament of 2nd Kings.
A special prayer list to the Jenkins family, the Craft family, Pauline Hart, Willie and Roma Burton Hayward, the Wilson family, Emma G. Magee family, Serenity Village, and to all who are sick and lost loved ones.
