Hello there! Hope you are being blessed as I speak. Thank God for this week. The days and nights go so fast, it will pass us up if we don't keep up.
There were many things going on during the weekend. On Friday evening was movie night for the communities. It was nice, I know the children enjoyed running and playing in the field and the parents enjoyed it too. And on Saturday at the late Mr. McCullen service, we met the new pastor, Rev. Sweetwine. He has a very nice personality and sense of humor, at Winan Church.
On Sunday, July 30 it was just awesome. The communities of Churches came together at Elder Jacob Tate Sr.'s nice place that God has blessed them with. It was packed from the front to the back. That was really good, the young and the old were there. Many churches came out, the town Mayor and wife, Randy Seal and wife and other officers were there in the house.
The spirit was very high because we had a group of young black men working for the Lord to help other young men in their life. The group is named Community Leadership for the Foundation. Thank God for them, but wait, we have some ladies working too. Their group is called the CoCo. Check it out. Jackie Tate is the leader for her group. The name means Champions of Change Organization, helping people of all walks of life. The main part of the service was the young preacher who blew off the roof with his sermon on Sunday. His name is Jyrais Robinson, coming from the book of I Samuel 17: 35-51. All were blessed by the service.
