Hello there, it won't be long before Christmas.
My family and myself would like to wish Aunt Derace Magee a happy belated birthday which was December 16, 2023. Don't let the rocking chair fool you, she is a teenager in her own way. Who is a woman of God, who will be 90 years old. Time goes by fast; she has worked very hard in those early morning fields and houses that she cleans and keeps everything clean around her when she can. She has a very soft voice, when she speaks, keeps a smile on her face, is very proud, loves to look sharp, has a strut in her walk and a zip in her talk. She loves going to church and Sunday school, enjoys all of church members, relatives, and friends, and she calls everybody Kin and makes many friends.
Sylvia, Delose, and Phyllis, granddaughter Inesha Brumfield, and great-grand little miss Ivy Brumfield. She has two sisters, Sylvia Magee Bell, and Hilda Brumfield. She also has one miracle brother, Ozziemo Magee. Aunt Derace loves helping people, she is well liked at Serenity Village where she lives. She has many names such as Dowreather, Dand and others call her Re. She wants you to know that the Lord is her Shepard!
A special prayer request for Larry Magee family, late Mattie Golden family, Bro. Ray Magee family, Burriss family (lost loved ones), Fowler family, Jaynell family, Jessie Magee family, and Frances Smith family.
Happy birthday to all others!
Congratulations to Mrs. Etta Magee on her retirement from Washington Parish Library in Franklinton, La. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all! - Brenda Magee
