Well, football season has come to an end for the Franklinton Demons. They, along with all of the support groups and band gave us a season to remember. I am so proud of each of the students who have promoted such school spirit and a love for the game and each other. My heart has swelled with pride for each of these groups throughout the season and I am extremely sad to see it come to an end. I know there will another chapter to this Senior year for my girl, but this one stings a bit.
Enon Baptist Church will have their Thanksgiving Supper on November 20that 6 pm. Bring a dish and join us for a good time of food and fellowship. We have so much to be thankful for this year. On December 3rd Enon will have an opportunity to take part in the live Life of Christ at Mile Branch Christmas. If you are interested in helping, please message Brother Chris. The Churchwide Marshmallow Olympics and Blessing of Food will be November 19th. Happy birthday to my amazing Aunt Charlotte Ginn, Geraldine Penton, and our fabulous counselor Jessica Easterling. Condolences to the families of Toby Miller, Christian Tullis, and Brianna Sisson.
Enon Elementary School put on a wonderful Veteran’s Day Program on Friday. I know each school did an amazing job and I am forever grateful for the sacrifices that our Veteran’s have endured. We can learn so much from them and their patriotism. This year was a little dimmer for some of us because a few of our normal Veteran’s that we just adored have gone on to be with Jesus. We miss them terribly, but their legacy will live on. My 6th grade Science class has been working on dioramas and presentation for the 5 main biomes. We have had some amazing work so far, hopefully pictures will be coming soon. Pre-K recently went on their field trip to the Hattiesburg Zoo. They had a wonderful time of discovery.
I hope you all have a great week. I know it is time to get all the things for Thanksgiving dinner ready, but I am already behind. (that’s nothing new haha) Spend time with friends and family and enjoy each day. Until next week………
