We successfully made it through the first full week of school. I am so glad to see the eager, smiling faces each day. Our students are amazing, and the teachers, staff and bus drivers are top notch! I am so thankful to work where I do at Enon Elementary, and with the people that I do. You just couldn’t ask for a better place to be!
Saturday, September 3rd from 1-3 pm there will be a fellowship between the ladies of all the churches at Plainview Baptist Church. Please bring finger foods and plan to have a great time fellowshipping. Please join us on August 21st for our evening worship. Enon Baptist Church will be hosting Pastor Isaac and Shupe Makashinyl from Zambia.
There will be a Women Who Lead Training Event on August 27th from 9 am to 1 pm at First Baptist Church Franklinton. The Youth are selling EBC shirts. If you would like one just contact the church, Miranda, or one of the Youth. (They are gorgeous, and I can’t wait to get mine!) The shirts are $25 each. September 3rd, the Youth will be having a Scavenger Hunt, details to be announced soon.

August 20th will be the Blessing of Food.
Enon Elementary School will have Open House on September 1st at 5 pm. August 30th we will have a Fundraiser Kickoff. August 24th will be Fall Pictures, please wear your uniform. September 5th will be our first holiday (Labor Day) and September 6th-7th are Virtual Days.
Our Enon Eagles did amazingly well on their Leap tests even thought they faced many academic barriers created by the pandemic. Enon was above the state average across the board. Great job, Eagles!
It appears that we may have a drier week. Hopefully I will be able to get my grass mowed and do a few things around the house before it gets soggy again.
