Well school is back in session. Teachers went back to work on January 4th and students returned on January 9th. It is hard to believe that the school year is halfway over. Our students across the parish are absolutely flourishing, not just in academics, but extracurriculars as well. It is so exciting to see how far they all have come and how much further they will go!
Enon Baptist Church will be having the annual Enon Block Party at the end of April. We are making preparations now, so if you would like to help in anyway, please let Brother Chris know. Blessing of Food will be January 21st. January 15th will be Youth Sunday and we are looking forward to see how God is working in each of them. We would love to have you visit with us that Sunday and if you are looking for a church home, we welcome you!
Children in Action will resume this week. Our kids are learning so much about the importance of missions.

Happy birthday to our FABULOUS secretary Heather Rice, Nathan Herring, Jason Burch, Julie Williams, one of our amazing 4th grade teachers April Joiner, and Sybil Corkern Monday.
Enon Elementary School will be sending out report cards on January 11th. January 12th will be Banner/Honor Roll Free Dress and January 13th is Banner Roll Free Dress. January 16th there will be no school in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. January 20th will be our Mother/Son, Daddy/Daughter Dance. Raffle tickets are being sold, if you are interested just check with the school. The Enon Library has tons of amazing books for you to check out!
The Library will have activities at 3 pm on Thursdays. January 12th---Snowmen at Night, January 19th---Snowmen All Year, January 26th--- Snowmen at Work. Just stop by and visit the ladies, check out some books, or use their internet if need be. I need to stop in and see what they have as well.
