We have had a lot of excitement at our house with Gracie trying to figure out where she wants to go to college. I don’t remember it being like this when I was going to college, but then again it sure was a lot different back then. She has had a lot of offers and she knows what she wants to do, now just to figure out which school makes the most sense for her. Y’all please say a prayer for her and us as we figure out where she is meant to be.
This past weekend students from the area were able to participate in Literary Rally at Southeastern Louisiana University. Annalise Thigpen and Kadyn Kittelson participated at Rally and then we all went to the LSU Men’s Basketball game afterwards. Although I was excited to go to the game, Mike the Tiger is always my favorite. He was busy taking a nap and didn’t have time for us. He is such a beautiful creature, I really want to just pet him and love on him, but we all know that won’t happen. (haha)
The Youth of Enon Baptist Church had a phenomenal time at the Lock-In Friday night. Annalise was only able to stay until about 9:30, but Gracie stayed all night. There was food, games, contests, and maybe a little sleep. I was told that several “famous” people showed up as well! Thank you to all who cooked, supported, and hung out with the Youth, I know they enjoyed every minute of it.
