I am just sitting down after marching in Pepe’s Parade with Gracie for Flair from Franklinton High School. I may need some water and ibuprofen after that walk. It was a beautiful day with lots of smiles and waves. I really enjoyed my “last” parade marching with my girl. Not quite sure how it will be next year, but this year was great. I was so excited to see former classmates, students, and family I haven’t seen in a long while.
Enon Baptist Church Youth are continuing their veggie sale through February 26th. If you would like to order, please contact Mrs. Miranda Blackwell or myself. We would love to help you get some veggies to fill your freezer. We are so appreciative of those who have purchased already
February 25that 5:30 pm will be EBC’s Annual Wild Game Cook Off. The categories are appetizer and main course. All entries must be turned in by 4 pm and plates will be for a donation. The Youth will also have a Bake Sale during that time. I am looking forward to seeing all the unique items that will be cooked and baked Saturday night!
EBC met the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions.
Church Wide Skate Night at the Sun Skating Rink from 6 pm to 9 pm.
March 4th will be our Seniors Health Check, lunch, and games. Come get checked out and spend some quality time enjoying others company.

We had a great Book Fair this past week. The students loved browsing and buying books. March 2nd we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
We have had many Enon students trying out and making a variety of support groups for Jr. High. I will try to get a list together for next week, so I do not leave anyone out.
If you are interested in a custodian job, Enon Elementary is looking for one. We would love to have you join our team!
5th grade has been learning about the planets, and 6th grade has been learning about renewable and nonrenewable resources.
Pre-K had their 100th Day of School on Friday. We had a variety of 100 year olds and shirts, etc that had representations of 100. They visited the Enon Library and read Centipede’s 100 Shoes by Tony Ross. The Washington Parish Library has some job openings. If you are interested, you can check at the Enon Library.
I hope you all have great week. If you are off from school, I hope you enjoy your time traveling, resting, or just having a good time. I am looking forward to maybe taking an overnight trip, cleaning, and Annalise and I taking Gracie to do her job shadowing/senior project at the D Day Museum.
