Well, another week, another Blood Drive for Mike! There was a total of 35 donors giving the gift of life in honor of Mike at Mt. Hermon Fire Department. We are grateful for those who are able to give blood and for those who are unable to, but are getting other to give, thank you as well! He was able to come home for a few days and will be headed back to Tulane to see what the next step will be in this journey. It is so humbling to have everyone checking in, donating, sending cards, etc. We feel the love and prayers daily. Thank you is just not enough. We are BLESSED and GRATEFUL.
Enon Baptist Church had Palm Sunday Dinner on the Grounds along with the Lord’s Supper this past Sunday. We had a wonderful time of fellowship.
Business Meeting will be April 5th.
On Good Friday there will be Carry Your Cross Walk from the Dirt Cheap parking lot at 9 am to the Franklinton Fairgrounds. Please wear your Enon Baptish Church t-shirts.
April 9th is Easter Sunday, Sunrise Service at 7 am, Sunday School at 9:30 am, and Morning Worship at 10:45 am. There will be NO evening services for Easter Sunday.
Blessing of Food is April 22nd.
April 29th is the Annual Block Party from 10 am to 2 pm, and 5th Sunday Sing is April 30th.
May 7th will be Graduate Recognition and Baby Dedication will be on Mother’s Day.

4-H Achievement Day was on Friday. Enon Elementary School won 1st place in Chant/Cheer/Song for the second year in a row and received 2nd place for their Banner. We had MANY students place and are so very proud of each of them along with their hard work they put in. Mrs. Jessica Easterling and Mrs. Deanna Kellar did a fabulous job with all of the preparations for a great day!
Don’t forget the Pre-K Round up! If you have a child who will be 4 by September 30, 2023, please come register.
April 6th will be $1 dress day. Remember April 7th through April 16th is Spring Break. Progress Reports will be sent home April 24th. LEAP testing will begin April 26th. Please make sure your students get a good night’s rest, a healthy breakfast, and are on time for school.
The Enon Library will be having Scrabble April 28th. April 6th the library will have movie time “The Great EGGscapade”, April 13th “Miles and Miles of Reptiles”, April 20th “The Lorax”, April 27th “Two of Everything”. Movie time is at 3 pm each Thursday. All of our EES students have been enjoying visiting the library and learning so much from the ladies. They have planted cotton, learned about bugs/insects, and other critters. The ladies would love to have you stop by, say hello, and check out a book or two.
And on one last note, CONGRATULATIONS to the LSU Lady Tigers, our National Champions!!!
