This past week was long, emotional, and difficult. Sometimes things do not work out the way we planned, or sometimes the things we think we want, or need are just not the case. No matter what the outcome is, we just pray for the Lord to guide us to where He wants us to be. I am looking forward to a better week for everyone. I also can’t wait for it to cool down at some point. We are in desperate need for some “Fair Weather” and good times around here!
The youngest Thigpen received her Lettermen Jacket last week. Annalise lettered in Powerlifting and is also in her third year of Tennis. We are so proud of her and pray that she has a safe, healthy season for both sports. Powerlifting was not a thing when I was in school, but I am so grateful she has the opportunities she does with this program. They will have their first meet on December 16th at Holden High School. I am so excited to see her lift!

Enon Elementary School had their Beta Club Induction last week. We are so proud of each of our students and their hard work and dedication. Some of our Enon Eagles were able to cheer on the Franklinton High School Demons. The girls did an amazing job! Mega Dough Fundraiser due date is September 29th. Thank you for supporting our school!
I hope you all have a great week. We are busy trying to find a Homecoming dress, shoes, etc for Annalise’s Homecoming Dance in October.
I appreciate all of your support and kind words about my article. Sometimes it is hard to find things to discuss, but y’all are amazing and I am grateful for you! If you have any upcoming fun events, reunions, parties, weddings, etc just let me know. I would love to share your experiences! Until next week…………
