I can’t believe it is one week until the Washington Parish Free Fair! I have always loved Fair time, because back in the day it was actually cool, and you could wear the cutest fall clothes. Nowadays it seems like you have to wear shorts and t-shirts, and nearly sweat to death.
I have so many fond memories of the fair, from staying in Paw Paw’s and Maw Maw’s camper, showing sheep, listening to dad and his friends pick and grin on the porches in Mile Branch, hanging out on the Jones Cabin porch, and visiting with family and friends. Fair time is FAMILY time!
Congratulations to Jace and Cameron Robertson Ball! They were married over the weekend at The Barn at Bridlewood in Hattiesburg. It was a beautiful wedding with lots of memories being made.

At my house we will be preparing for Homecoming at FHS this week and believe it or not my 30th high school reunion, my oldest brother Mike’s 40th high school reunion, and Ron’s 38th high school reunion. Who knew when I graduated on May 27, 1993, that 30 years later my oldest would graduate from the same high school on May 11, 2023? Definitely not me!
I hope you all have a wonderful week! Until next time………
