I do not know what type of “bug” is going around, but we would love for it to go away! Annalise has been sick this past week, negative for everything more than once, but sick! I do believe Gracie and I have lucked out and missed it, as well as James since he was on a business trip. For those of you who are sick and have been sick GOD BLESS YOU! Hope you are better soon.
Enon Baptist Church is still taking items for Operation Christmas Child. Items needed are toys for 5-9 year olds and 10-14 year olds, loose leaf paper, and shipping charges. (I believe $9 per box?)
The Youth are selling t-shirts and have tickets for Enon Night on the Levee for November 18th.
There will be a Jesse Tree Ornament workshop on November 11th at 10 am. A light lunch will be provided.
Blessing of Food will be November 18th.
There was a Bridal Shower for Harlie Knight, bride elect of Cole Williams this past weekend.
There was also a Mini Women’s Retreat over the weekend. We can’t wait for the one in February.

Our Enon Eagles had their October Student of the Month breakfast on Friday. We are so proud of you all!
Halloween was a wild and crazy day anyway, there were decks of UNO cards, Bumble Bee from Transformers, the Golden Girls, some 80’s chicks, a dinosaur, lots of chips and salsa with avocado, and a crazed Drama Llama. We had a great day!
Progress Reports go home on November 9th. November 10th is Patriotic top with uniform bottoms. Thanksgiving turkeys are due November 13th. Thanksgiving Luncheon Invites are Due (3rd-6th grade only) November 15th and Thanksgiving Luncheon is November 16th. (3rd-6th grade guests only)
Special Olympics will be held November 16th at Franklinton High School.
Remember school will be out November 20th-24th for the Thanksgiving Holidays.
Movies at the Enon Library will be November 9th Charlie Brown Thanksgiving; November 15th no program; November 30th Pink Panther. Scrabble for Adults is November 17th at 2 pm. The library now has puzzles to take home! The Enon Library’s Read for the Record is over 200 children, over 200 children heard the story “With Lots of Love”.
PLEASE remember to get out and VOTE on November 18th --- we have several items on the ballot. You can early vote from now until November 11th. Gracie and I went to the debate at the Courthouse for Parish President and Sheriff. I have been to different things like this off and on, but this was new for Gracie, and she enjoyed every minute of it. She has always been into politics, but this was new for her.
I so appreciate all of the people I had conversations with that night about a variety of subjects.
