This last week has been rough to say the least. Flu B tried to take out the Thigpen household, but it was not successful! I haven’t been that sick in a long time, and it was worse than Covid. Everyone but the dog got it, but we are on the mend. I won’t go in to all the exciting and dramatic details, just know we are grateful to be upright finally.
A Housewarming was scheduled for Brad, Sarah, and Weston Sanson, but due to the Flu it will have to be rescheduled. We are so excited to have them home!
Enon Baptist Church’s Lottie Moon Christmas Offering goal is $1,200, if you would like to give, envelopes are in the back of the church. I am looking forward to our Christmas Eve Service next Sunday. This year’s Christmas will be different in more ways than one for us, but I am looking forward to the carols, hymns, and fellowship. We would love to have you as a guest, Sunday School is at 9:30 am and Worship is at 10:45 am. We hope you all have a wonderful and joyous Christmas.

Happy anniversary to my brother and sister-in-law Mike and Natalie Sharp. I hope you had a wonderful day together. Mike is doing great y’all and we are still so thankful for the love and prayers shown for him.
Enon Elementary School has had a grand time dressing up for Christmas. Mrs. Brittany has worked so hard with our littles for their Christmas Program. I can’t wait to see their performance. If you get a chance drive by the school at night and take a look at our beautiful Christmas lights that are strung up. Our Enon Eagles also did a great job decorating their Christmas trees this past week. I will try to put the winners in next week’s column.
I am hoping with a couple of weeks off from school, the flu, and all the other funk will die down. I am looking forward to relaxing and spending time with family and friends.
