I really thought we were going to float away this past week. We went from a drought in the summer/fall, to water over our road in places during the winter. Hopefully this water helped with crawfish and other crops that needed the water. I am sure many of us will be happy to see some sunshine again soon.

I just have to say there are so many people hurting and going through hard times right now. I know so many have lost so much, not just material things, but people. I pray that each of you help spread kindness and pray for one another. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt your prayers have carried me and my family through this last year. Please know how loved and appreciated you are. (I have just noticed so many folks needing prayers lately and wanted to share that.)
Starting February 1st, the Enon Library will have the Road Runner series after school. Second graders heard the story “The Little Red Hen” last week. That story is one that we applied to my MawMaw Delta Mae Wood. Definitely a story near and dear to my heart.
Enon Elementary School’s Talented Art students went on their field trip to Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art in Mississippi. They had an amazing time and learned so much. (Photo on Page A11.)
