I love cold/cool weather and have always been hot natured, but this weather has had me chilled to the bone! I guess because I am getting older or something, but this is ridiculous. I am looking forward to Springtime weather! Hopefully you all are staying warm and dry and enjoyed your weekend.

Condolences to the families of Paul Franklin, Margie Heller, and Tammy Richardson. Tammy was a former Kindergarten and Pre-K teacher who loved kids and the kids adored. She retired from Enon Elementary several years ago. I was able to be her co-worker and she taught my oldest daughter Gracie. Tammy was the life of the party and laughs were sure to be had if you were around her.
Happy birthday to Ethan Pittman, Easton Pittman, Karen Ryals Lucas, Renee Turnage Miley, one of our fabulous 5th grade teachers Deanna Kellar, Lurline McIlwain Ard, and our AWESOME librarian Haley Mobley.
Our Enon Eagles have been working hard both in school and virtually. I know it is difficult to switch gears midstream sometimes, but our teachers (as well as all teachers) try to go with the flow and be flexible and FLEXIBLE we ARE! Thank you for working so diligently with your children and their teachers.
This past weekend the Powerlifting Team from Franklinton High School went to participate in The Battle on the Bayou Invitational in Houma, Louisiana. It was definitely an all day affair, but each student put their best foot forward and did an amazing job! There were many awards that day and a lot of growth! This was my daughter Annalise’s second ever meet EVER and she did a wonderful job. That girl deadlifted 160 pounds as her highest weight. That may not seem like a lot to some, but she has come a LONG way. We are so proud of this new family we are a part of and are grateful for all they do! I hope you all have a great week and enjoy your friends and family, tell them you love them and hold them a little tighter.
