Do you like movies? The Youth at Enon Baptist Church are sponsoring “Movie Night on the Levee” on Saturday, April 9th at 7:30 pm. The movie is “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey”. The fee is a donation and there will be concessions as well. Children in Action is sponsoring the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 10th after Dinner on the Grounds. It will be for toddlers through 3rd grade. We are collecting items for Operation Christmas Child and the Washington Parish Food Bank. If you have Box Tops for Education, Community Coffee coupons, and aluminum can tabs for Ronald McDonald House, we are taking them as well. The Annual Block Party will be April 30th. We will have more information about it coming soon. Condolences for the family of Fred Spears. Happy birthday to Jimmy Pace, Sharon Perry, Carlton Talley, one of our amazing bus drivers Lisa Daniel, Blaine Dufrene, and our awesome music teacher Brittany Bryant Galloway.
Report Cards went home on March 21st. March 25th will be a $1 free dress day. March 28th there will be no school for PRE-K students only, they will return March 29th. Spring Break will be April 11 through April 18. It has been so nice outside, our Pre-K students are loving being able to play outside and enjoy the sunshine. Our unit is on Bugs and Insects so we are looking for bugs as well. We are in our 4th nine weeks in this school year. I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by and that Spring is here, and Summer is coming soon!
If you have any information for me to share, feel free to message or email me anytime. I hope you all have a wonderful week, of course Tuesday is supposed to be raining, but what is new around here. I am looking forward to the longer days to be able to get things done outside. Until next week….
