I do apologize for missing last week’s article. The girls have had me running ragged. We have been all over the state of Louisiana with 4-H State Boards and hopefully will be slowing down little soon. I am definitely thankful to have this week off to rest and recuperate, it is also my birthday week so that helps.
Happy birthday to Jennifer Singleton Bahlinger, Shaunna Perry, Kathy Rebstock, Robin Cooke Perez, Chris Babb, Michael Jones, Lela Yates, Zachary Ginn, Dylan Varnado, Justin Black, one of our amazing Kindergarden teachers Jamilynn Stevens, Rodney Robertson, Mary Ann Danos, Hunter Thomas, Jo Perry, and Susan Eccles.
Enon Baptist Church was able to send 120 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child this year. We are grateful to those who donated and helped. November 21st was our World Hunger Offering and Thanksgiving Supper.
Condolences to the families of Janet Carter, Leon Cowell Patrick Rooney, Marie Vince, Kisha Reeves, and Sonny Wilson.
The Youth are meeting for Bible Study on Sunday evenings during Worship. Children in Action meet on Wednesdays with supper at 5:30 pm and class at 6 pm.
Enon Elementary School is out for Thanksgiving the week of November 22nd-26th. Students will return November 29th.
We had many awesome and creative turkeys sent to school for judging, I will post the winners and hopefully a picture next week.
Pre-K has been learning lots about trees, what their job is, who lives in them, and how they grow. Our students have been busy working hard and I hope they enjoy their much deserved break this week. We are THANKFUL for them and their families.
Congratulations to all the couples who have recently gotten married, there are so many I know I hate to miss one. We pray you have many long, wonderful years together.
If you have anything you would like me to share, please feel free to message or email me anytime. I would love to hear from you!
I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving with friends and family. Until next week……
