I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were able to spend time with friends and family. There was lots of food, some shopping, exploration of new places, and quality time spent with those we love. I am not quite sure how I will be able to go back to work this week. (ha!)
Enon Baptist Church received over $400 for our World Hunger Offering. On December 18th we will be hosting a community Christmas Breakfast for children ages 2 all the way to 5th grade. This is going to be and exciting time for the children and adults as well. Ladies Bible Study will begin a study on January 12, 2022, entitled I AM. The cost is $13. There will also be a Men’s Bible Study as well. Condolences to the families of John Ladner, Carey Bateman, and Scott Spears. Happy birthday to Carlie Whitfield, and Heather Jenkins Knight.
Remember December 9th and 10th are virtual days for students; these two days are professional development days for teachers and staff. (All Washington Parish Schools) We are so proud of our Enon Eagles and how hard they are working. Christmas Tree templates will be sent home this week and I can’t wait to see all the creative trees that will be turned in.
December 4th-5th will be Pioneer Christmas at Mile Branch. I can’t wait to see the beautiful, old time Christmas decorations, get some of the famous hoop cheese, and just enjoy time with family. The night of December 4th will be the Franklinton Christmas Festival Parade. I hope you all have a great week and enjoy this cool weather. It is really beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.
