The Book Fair that was scheduled for the week of August 30th has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
Congratulations to the students who attended classes this summer at Northshore Technical College in Bogalusa as part of the Jumpstart Summer Institute. Miracle Harris and Sabrina Duncan gained their certifications as Certified Nursing Assistants, and Dalton Lourigan and Taylor Templet gained their certifications as Automotive Mechanics. MHS is proud of you all!

Beginning September 5th, there will be a meal served at 5:30 PM, followed by classes for PreK through 6th grades.

*August is the month to take up offerings for the Help Center for Churches, located in Franklinton. If you would like to write a check, please make it out to MHBC, and mark #9 HCC on the memo line.
*The Christmas in July Operation Christmas Child goal of 42 shoeboxes to collect has been achieved! Mt. Hermon Baptist wants to thank everyone who participated. Now they only have to collect 33 more boxes by mid-November to meet the yearly goal of 75.

This past Sunday, we had the privilege of hearing Bro. Danny Norman deliver the message, as well as sing. Also, the Jr. Hands of Praise signed to “Dry Bones”, and the Sr.Hands of Praise signed to “Stand Up??.
Join us Wednesday evenings at 7 PM, and Sunday morning at 10 AM.

Last Sunday, Bro. William spoke on how God, through the Holy Spirit, wants us to use what He has given us to grow spiritually. It was a meaningful message which asked the question “Do we see the blessings God gives us?” 1 Corinthians 2:9 was the scripture reference for this sermon.
