Silver Creek Campground will have Easter at the Creek activities this weekend. Starting Friday 7-11 PM, with a DJ. Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at 8 PM and games. Saturday from 10 AM-12 PM, J&J Farm and Petting Zoo will be there, followed by a coloring contest, egg dyeing and more. The Easter Bunny is hopping to the pavilion at 2 PM for pictures! More games in the field will be played during the afternoon and ending with Easter Egg Wrap and Easter Scramble at 8 PM. Please bring a flashlight and an Easter basket for your child.
The Mt. Hermon Ruritan Club is hosting its 2 Man Scramble-18 hole Golf Tournament. This will be April 27th, shotgun start at 9 AM, at the Franklinton Country Club. $200 per team entrance fee, Mulligans are $5.00 each with a limit of 4 per team. Registration prior to the event is encouraged, but will be accepted the morning of the tournament. Lunch, soft drinks and water will be provided. Mt. Hermon School
The Lady Jackets Softball team is selling individual bundtlet cakes for $7.00. The deadline to order is April 7th. These cakes are made at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Covington, and they are amazing! Fundraiser cake flavors available are: Chocolate chip, red velvet, white chocolate, raspberry, lemon, confetti and classic vanilla. It's the sweetest way to support the team, and the softball players appreciate it very much!
This Friday at 5:30 PM, there will be a softball game (jv) played at MHS, against Franklinton Junior High. ***8th graders will be recognized***
Also, this Friday is Good Friday (no school), Spring Break begins! Students return Monday, April 8th.

It's not too late to buy a grilled chicken dinner. You don't want to miss it, because they are the best! Dinners include half a chicken, baked beans, potato salad, bread and cake for $12. Dinners will be ready for pick-up Saturday, April 20th, 11 AM-1 PM at the church or in Franklinton.
The Young at Hearts will gather April 11th, 11:30 AM, at The Burger Basket in Osyka, MS.
If you don't have a church to attend, we invite you to ours. Sunday morning worship service is at 10 AM. Sunday evenings at 7 PM is Hope Alive meetings, our faith based recovery program that is court approved. Come early for snacks and socializing at 6:15. Prayer meeting is Tuesdays at 7 PM, and Wednesday night at 7 PM is Bible Study for adults and classes for children and teens. There is something for everyone!
