The Mt. Hermon Farmers Market will be next Saturday, April 2nd from 8 til noon in the parking lot of Rawls Pharmacy. All vendors are welcome!
The Mt. Hermon Ruritan Club is sponsoring a Golf Tournament (2 Man Scramble, 18 Hole). This will take place April 23rd-Shotgun start at 9 AM at the Franklinton Country Club. The cost is $200 per team entrance fee, Mulligans $5 each. Sponsor signs are available for $100. One sign will be placed along the course. Mrs. Katie Kulbeth is the Teacher of the Week. Katie teaches 2nd grade at MHS, and is an amazing asset to the MHS Family. Staff Member of the Week is Mrs. Sara Luper, the school nurse. She is loved at MHS, and loves to take great care of the Yellowjackets.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration is April 4, 2022 from 8:30 AM-1:00 PM. Children must be 4 years old on or before September 30, 2022.

Justin Hepting won 3rd place in the Washington Parish HeartSmart Essay Contest! Aliyah Astephan, Morgan Strange, Nahla Williams, and Tyler Gros are the winners of the MHS HeartSmart Poster Contest. Congratulations to you all! HeartSmart is a heart healthy curriculum taught by Mrs. Danielle Whaley and Mrs. Tammy Bourgeois to their 6th grade students. The program encourages students to make good life choices, and to teach the importance of diet and exercise. They would like to thank Mrs. Anita Wood, Washington Parish Coordinator, for this amazing learning experience.
The MHS Lady Yellowjacket Softball Team is on fire! In the Booker T. Washington game last week, they won with a 19-0 victory. Way to go! Come on out to support the Softball and Baseball teams in the upcoming games.
