Good day to everybody! Did ya'll know that Mt. Hermon now has a Family Dollar/Dollar Tree? They opened for business on April 29th, and last Saturday was the Grand Opening. I have yet to shop there, but I hear that it's well stocked.
Happy Birthday to David Earl Duncan! He will be celebrating his special day later this month.

Congratulations to the Mt. Hermon Teacher of the Week-Mrs. Miranda Fountain and Staff Member of the Week-Mrs. Marie Rando. MHS is honored to have you both.
Over the past few weeks, the elementary kids have had the privilege of going on field trips. Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students took a field trip to Insta-Gator Ranch and Hatchery where they learned about the conservation, habitat, and importance of the American Alligator. 3rd grade students enjoyed an educational tour of the Atchafalaya Swamp. They learned about the importance of Louisiana swamps and their impact on us. 4th and 5th graders toured Honey Island Swamp and learned about swamp life. The 6th grade classes visited the Audobon Zoo and was taught about animal conservation and habitats.
*Jr. High and High School Awards Program will be Friday, May 20th at 9 AM
*Last day to order a 2021-2022 yearbook is Friday, May 20th. This is also the last day of school!
*Report cards will be mailed out May 23rd
*ACT workshop for grades 9th-11th is June 1st, 2nd, and 6th-9th from 8AM-2 PM. The cost is $25 per student.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
Zoomerang VBS will be held June 6th-10th from 8:30-11:30 AM.
Everyone is invited to join them for Sunday school at 9:30 AM with worship service starting at 10:30 AM. Prayer meeting and children's Bible study is on Wednesday nights at 5:00 PM.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
The women and teen girls will have a movie night this Friday night at 6 PM.
Vacation Bible School is set to begin the first Monday of June through Friday from 5:30-8:00 PM. Any child from Pre-K to 8th grade is welcome. Supper will be served each night.
Women's Bible study is every Tuesday morning, 10 AM, at the church. They invite you all to join them as they are learning life lessons from women in the Bible.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
Several kids from MHUPC attended the Section 1 Spring Rally. They had a wonderful time watching the puppets, worshipping with action songs, and learning about not being afraid because God is in the boat.
We welcome you all to join us on Sunday mornings at 10 AM to hear Pastor Randall Garcia, the Praise Team and the Jr. and Sr. Hands of Praise. Also, on Wednesday nights at 7 PM.
