I hope everyone had a safe and fun Labor Day! Now that summer is officially over, it's time to get those pumpkins and scarecrows out.
Congratulations to the newly wedded Mr. and Mrs. Shelton "Red" Pittman! Brenda Schilling Wilson and Red Pittman exchanged vows on Saturday, September 3rd at New Zion Baptist Church near Kentwood. It was a beautiful ceremony with lots of family and friends present. Aunt Brenda was a glowing bride! A reception followed in the fellowship hall of the church. May God bless you both with many years of happiness!

Everyone is invited to their Revival featuring Bro. Melvin Malachai, beginning Sept. 11th-14th. Sunday morning service will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by dinner on the grounds. Evening service begins at 6:00 PM.
The Georgia Barnette Louisiana Missions Week kicks off the second week of September. Fall Food Roundup for the Baptist Children's Home continues through Sept. 18th.
