Mt. Hermon School
MHS will be hosting a Veterans Day Breakfast this Friday at 8:30 AM in the school library, followed by a Veterans Day Program at 9:00 AM in the gym. All veterans, spouses and active military personnel are welcome to attend. Please call the school at 877-5813, in order for them to get a count.
The Jackets and the Lady Jackets Basketball team both won their firstgame of the regular season. They played First Baptist Christian in Slidell. That makes a great start to the season!
MHS will host a basketball tournament Nov. 16th-Nov. 18th. The first Jr. High home basketball game will be Nov. 28th at 5:30 PM.
The MHS Cross Country teams competed at the Regional Meet in Ponchatoula this past Saturday morning. Even in the rain and mud, they qualified to compete in the Louisiana State Cross Country Meet that will take place in Natchitoches on Nov. 14th.! Six MHS runners placed in the Top 25! We are so proud of you all!
Football and Junior High Cheer pictures will be taken Thursday, Nov. 10th.
Nov. 14th at 1:30 PM, the Juniors will have their Class Ring Ceremony.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
A good time was had by all at the Harvest Festival, despite the rain.
Thanksgiving churchwide will be celebrated on the 20th with dinner on the ground.
Sunday school starts at 9:30 AM, with worship service at 10:30 AM. All are welcome!
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
This Sunday, Nov. 13th, Thanksgiving Lunch will be after the morning worship service. This day is also High Attendance Sunday, so invite a friend or a few to come along.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
Happy Anniversary to Bro. and Sis. Garcia! They celebrated forty one years last Sunday, Nov. 6th.
This coming Sunday night at 6 PM, we will have our Friendsgiving Thanksgiving meal. Bring your favorite dish.
Everyone is welcome to join us on Tuesday nights at 7 PM for Prayer Meeting, Wednesday nights at 7 PM for Bible Study and Children and Teen classes and Sunday mornings at 10 AM for worship service.
