Greetings to you all! I'd say we have had a bit of a drop in temperatures since this time last week. It actually feels like November.
District 9 (Mt. Hermon) Fire Dept. will be starting a Toy Run with the local Dollar General stores (Mt. Hermon and Clifton locations)! Please stop by one of these locations and donate a toy for kids in need this holiday season. Ages vary from 1-17 years old.
Mt. Hermon School
The MHS Veterans Day Program was held this past Friday. Everyone felt truly blessed and humbled by the Veterans, and were so thankful to honor them all. Special thanks to the guest speaker, Col. Charles D. Smith, for the special Flag presentation. MHS would also like to thank their amazing students, teachers, staff, parents, honored guests and community members who helped make the program exceptional.
The Mt. Hermon School Show Team was represented well at the St. Tammany Fall Fling Livestock Show! Faxon Coleman placed 2nd and Timothy Magee placed 3rd in their respective classes with their Registered Beefmasters! Congratulation!
MHS Basketball tournament begins Wednesday, Nov. 16th-Friday, Nov. 18th.
Christmas pictures will be taken this Friday. NO school next week! Enjoy your Thanksgiving break!

The Women's Christmas Mugs and Muffins will be Dec. 3rd, 10 AM-Noon. "The Greatest Gift of All" is the theme. There will be games, prizes, entertainment, food and fellowship.
Mark your calendar for Dec. 11th at 6 PM. You don't want to miss the annual Christmas Cantata that is presented by the Adult Choir!

Sunday evening was certainly a time of Thanksgiving. We all gathered for our Friendsgiving Thanksgiving meal. There was an abundance of delicious food and spending time with our church family.
Bro. Paul Badeaux was recognized in Sunday morning service, in honor of Veterans Day. We thank you, Bro. Paul!
Tuesday night, after Prayer Meeting, Bro. David Duncan had a special birthday celebration. Happy 81st Birthday!
