Mt. Hermon School proudly announces the 2023 MHS Homecoming Grand Marshals, Mrs. Romenia Scott and Mrs. Nell Smith. Please join MHS in honoring these very special ladies of our community. They have both dedicated their kindness, love and loyalty to Mt. Hermon School for countless years.
Mrs. Romenia and Mrs. Nell will ride in the MHS Homecoming Parade on January 25th, and will be honored at the MHS Homecoming basketball game on January 27th.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
Regular services resume Sunday at 9:30 AM for Sunday school and 10:30 AM for worship services. Mission Friends and Children In Action resume at 5:30 PM on Sunday and Wednesday nights, with Bible Study on Wednesday nights at 5:30 PM. Stay tuned for exciting activities to come! Everyone is welcome!
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
To start the year off, we were blessed to hear the message this past Sunday, by Bro. Odom, who is from Beaumont, Texas.
The first Youth Rally of the year is January 6th at The River Church in Tickfaw. Bro. Jared Morse will be the speaker.
For many months Sis. Mandi Boyd and several others have been planning and preparing to start a recovery program at our church. Hope Alive, a faith based recovery for anyone with hurts, habits and hang-ups, is set to begin this month! The first meeting is January 30th at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6:15. They plan to meet every Monday night at 7 PM, and everyone is welcome. Recovery has a name and it's Jesus!
