Congratulations to the 2023 MHS Homecoming Queen, Miss Ju'Myrie Williams! Homecoming Week was a great success. MHS would like to thank all the faculty, students and members of the community that helped make it possible.
The Homecoming Dance is this Saturday night. 7th and 8th grade-6:30 til 8 PM, then 9th-12 grade-8:30-10PM. Tickets will be sold at the door for $7, and Photography by Dwan will be available.
Friday night, February 3rd, MHS will play Holden at 6 PM. Next Thursday, February 9th, MHS vs. False River at 6 PM. This will be Senior Night!

A Women's Bible Study began this week. Its's a 5 week study by Priscilla Shirer, All women are invited to attend on Tuesdays at 10 AM. It's not too late to join.
The Senior Adults will have a Valentine's Lunch on Monday, February 13th at 11 AM.

Freedom Sunday was celebrated this past Sunday. It was a celebration of how God has blessed us with the gift of freedom from hurts, habits and hang-ups that held us back.
We were blessed to hear the message from Bro. Gene Amons during the morning service. Sunday night, at the first Hope Alive meeting, he gave his testimony of how God delivered him from alcoholism and addiction. You too can be delivered from addiction, hurts and hang-ups. Come join us on Sunday evenings at 7 PM. Everyone is welcome!
