Happy Valentine's Day!
Congratulations to Mt. Hermon Ruritan Club member, Junie Goings, for being voted as the winner of the first Ruritan Club Chili Contest! She has earned the bragging rights! The club would like to thank all of those who came out and participated in the fundraiser. It was a successful and fun day.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
The youth and children will be hosting a Valentine fundraiser supper in the Family Center. They will be accepting donations for the meal.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
A Diaper Shower will be given for Regan and Josh Lee this Saturday, February 18th at 10 AM in the MHBC Fellowship Hall.
February is Random Acts of Kindness Month. The challenge is to do one random act of kindness everyday.
February is also the month to bring in small toys for Operation Christmas Child.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
This Wednesday, the 15th at 7 PM, we will have our Valentine's Banquet. Bring your best Louisiana food and dessert as potluck.
Hope Alive, our faith based recovery to help you overcome hurts, habits and hangups, is off to a good start. Join us on Sunday nights at 6:15 PM for light refreshments and fellowship, with the study starting at 7 PM.
Mt. Hermon School
Mt. Hermon School was well represented by the Jr. Beta members at the State Jr. Beta Convention last week. Congratulations to Lyric Moran for placing 1st in Poetry, and Weston Fortenberry for placing 1st in Drawing. Lyric and Weston will advance to the National competition that will take place in Kentucky. MHS Jr. Beta is sponsored by Ms. Tiffany Williams and Mrs. Miranda Fountain.
MHS is proud to have Mrs. Amanda Bracy as the new Guidance Counselor. She is an asset to the students and an amazing part of the MHS Family!
Basketball season ended with the Jackets and the Lady Jackets celebrating victories at the last home game against False River. It has been an amazing season and MHS is proud of you all!
