Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
Lots of activities coming up soon! The ladies "Seasons Celebration" will be this Saturday at 11 AM. Also, the youth are going bowling at 4 PM.
Easter cantata practice is going well and they will have their 150th birthday celebration and homecoming on May 7th.
Wednesday nights, children and youth groups meet, and it's prayer and devotional time for adults. As always, Sunday school starts at 9:30 AM and worship is at 10:30 AM. Everyone is welcome!
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
To help with Operation Christmas Child in the month of March, you may bring washcloths, bars of soap or toothbrushes. No toothpaste, please.
Next Saturday, March 18th, there will be a church work day, weather permitting.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
Details aren't finalized, but the Young At Hearts (those who are age 55 or older) are planning a lunch outing for March 16th.
Everyone is welcome to attend our Hope Alive class on Sunday nights beginning at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6:15 to fellowship and have snacks. The classes are encouraged for anyone with any hurt, habit or hang-up.
We also invite everyone to join us on Wednesday nights at 7 PM and Sunday mornings at 10 AM.
Mt. Hermon School
Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 1st from 6-8 PM, there will be a "Boots and Belles" Mother/Son and Daddy/Daughter Dance in the MHS cafeteria. This is for MHS students in PreK-6th grade. The cost is $7 a person and dressy attire.
MHS Black History Month Poster Contest took place last month. Many students entered and all the posters were amazing! Congratulations to 1st place winner: Lucy Hughes, 2nd place: Lani Rando and 3rd Place: Lynden Pardee.
MHS Baseball team was victorious over the Amite Warriors! Go Jackets! This Thursday at 4:30 PM, they will play Independence. MHS Softball team will play Franklinton this Thursday, also at 4:30 PM. Friday and Saturday, they will participate in the Sumner Softball Tournament. Friday, the MHS Track team will meet and compete at Sumner.
March 12-14th, students will not attend school. Virtual days will be Tuesday and Wednesday (students will work on Google classroom.
