Silver Creek Campground will have activities for the whole family to celebrate Easter this weekend. Friday and Saturday night, they will have a D.J. from 7-11 PM. Friday night at 8 PM, a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. Saturday from 10 AM-12 PM, J and J Farm and Petting Zoo will be there with lots of animals. Have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny at 2 PM, under the pavilion, followed by another Easter Egg Hunt and lots of other games!

The annual Easter egg hunt will be this Friday at 10 AM. On May 7th, they will celebrate their Homecoming and 150th Anniversary. Everyone is welcome to Sunday school and worship service starting at 9:30 AM with Bible study on Sunday and Wednesday nights at 5:30 PM.

This past Sunday, Palm Sunday, the MHBC Choir presented Champion Love Easter Cantata. It was a beautiful way to prepare their hearts to begin Holy Week and they are looking forward to Resurrection Sunday.

They will have Bible study tonight, Tuesday, April 4th at 6 PM. Easter Sunday/Sunrise Service is this Sunday at 7 AM, with breakfast to follow. A 5th Sunday Dinner is planned for April 30th.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
If you don't have a church to go to for Easter, please join us Sunday morning at 10 AM. We also invite everyone to Prayer Meetings on Tuesday nights at 7 PM and Wednesday nights at 7 PM for Bible Study and Children and Youth classes.
Sunday nights at 7 PM is our Hope Alive meetings, faith based recovery for anyone with a hurt, habit or hangup. Doors open at 6:15 PM in the fellowship hall for coffee, refreshments and fellowship.

Congratulations to the winners of the MHS HeartSmart Essay Contest! Ava Rogers placed 1st with her essay titled, "Greatest Inspiration" and Hanna Taylor placed 2nd with her essay titled, "Nightmares". Both essays will be placed in the Parish HeartSmart Essay Contest. MHS is proud of you both!

The MHS Student Council sponsored a pet supply drive benefiting the Washington Parish Animal Shelter. They would like to thank everyone who donated and a special thanks to Mrs. Katie Kulbreth's class for donating the most items and winning an ice cream party. All the donations have been delivered and WPAS is very grateful.
MHS Agriscience students, along with PreK and Kindergarten students, had a visit from J and J Farms. The students learned about farm animals and exotic reptiles. This farm visit allowed students to see how much hard work goes into keeping and caring for animals. The Agriscience students of Mrs. Sandra Givens created and designed a "Fun on Hermon's Farm Booklet" and presented them to the PreK and Kindergarten students. They all had so much fun!
Mt. Hermon was well represented last week by the 4-H clubs at the Washington Parish Achievement Day. It was a great day for all and they brought back numerous awards!
Easter break begins this Friday, Good Friday, April 7th. Students return to school Monday, April 17th. Have a safe and Happy Easter!
