MHS would like to wish a Happy Administrative Professionals Day to their beloved Mrs. Haley Jones and Mrs. Renee Fortenberry. They are very blessed to have both of these ladies, as their kindness is unmistakable!
All students are invited to enter the Washington Parish Watermelon Festival Poster Contest. Posters are due to be turned in by May 17th. Flyers were sent home with students with more details. All posters will receive a ribbon and be displayed.
The MHS Class of 2010 had a little get together Saturday night at Bo's Steakhouse. There was a total of seven classmates and spouses were there also. They all had a great time catching up and reminiscing.
MHS Golden Grad Reunion is this Saturday, May 6th, beginning at 9 AM in the school cafeteria.
Last day of school for Seniors is this Friday and they graduate next Saturday, May 13th at 10 AM in the MHS gym.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
Great weekend ahead with the Homecoming and 150th Anniversary this Sunday, May 7th at 10:30 AM, with a potluck dinner and music afterwards. They are looking forward to a great turnout!
May 14th, they will be celebrating Mother's Day. All are invited for Sunday School at 9:30 AM and Worship Service at 10:30 AM, Sunday night service at 5:30 PM and Wednesday nights at 5:30 PM.

Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
A Baby Dedication Service took place this past Sunday for Jazhara Di'Elle Catchings. She is the daughter of Jordan and Marcaila Catchings. Many of her family members were there to be part of this special day.
We also were honored to hear Rev. Henry Broom preach the Word. Rev. Broom delivered his first sermon in 2013 at MHUPC when he and his wife, Sis. Paula Broom, attended our church. He has recently been elected as the Section 11 North American Missions Director.
At Sunday night's Hope Alive meeting, the guest speaker was Scotty Cooper. He shared a powerful testimony of how God helped him overcome alcohol addiction. God can help you too! If you have any hurts, habits or hangups, join us on Sunday nights for Hope Alive meetings. Doors open at 6:15 PM for food and fellowship and the meeting starts at 7 PM.
A Ladies Luncheon will be held this Saturday in the Fellowship Hall at 11 AM. "Let's Flamingle!"
Jambalaya and sides will be served immediately after church this coming Sunday. All proceeds will go to help raise money for children and youth summer camps.
The Young at Heart's next outing will be May 18th for lunch at Golden Corral in McComb, MS.
