A Hunter Education class is scheduled for August 11th, 5:30 PM-9:30 PM and August 12th, 8:30 AM-2:30 PM, at the Mt.Hermon Ruritan Club. You must go to the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries website to register (wlf.louisiana.gov). The course is free, and it is taught by Brett Morris. Firearms and ammunition are provided. Limited seating, so register now.
Condolences to the family of Mrs. Huey Schilling Sullivan. Mrs. Huey was a 1941 graduate of MHS, and recently honored as the oldest graduate at the Mt. Hermon Golden Grad Reunion.

Sunny Hill Baptist Church
Vacation Bible School is this week! Starting Thursday night through Sunday night. Registration is Thursday at 5:30 PM. VBS will begin each night at 6:00 PM.
The mission is to bring a can food item for a food bank. They are looking forward to learning about, "Putting on the Armor of God".
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
Clara Springs Baptist Kids Camp of Northwest Louisiana is where six children of the church attended f few weeks ago. They had a great time of worshipping, fishing, swimming, kayaking and more! The children are very thankful for all the prayers and support.
Mt. Hemon Baptist Church
The youth group recently returned from camp at WorldSong Missions Place in Alabama. It was a tremendous week as they learned, grew, worshipped, played, laughed and competed. They made new friends and friendships within their own group were strengthened. The youth gives thanks to God for this opportunity and to everyone who helped make going to camp possible.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
The Young at Hearts had their monthly gathering last Thursday at Sugar Shack. Devotion was led by Sis. Joan Duncan, and everyone left with a gift. A good time of fellowship was had by all!
Ladies Conference is set for September 29th at New Life UPC in Bogalusa. Bro. Greg Albritton will be the guest speaker.
We welcome any one who is working toward healing from hurts, habits and hang-ups to Hope Alive. Recovery meetings are Sunday nights at 7 PM, and come early for food and fellowship and 6:15 PM. Anyone is welcome, and this program is approved through the court system. This coming Sunday, we will be studying Step eleven, and also hearing from Ryan Hunt on resentments.
