Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
The Ladies Bible Study Group finished their most recent study last week, followed by a salad lunch. Currently, they have eleven ladies in the group. They will soon announce when the next study will begin, and would like to invite any other ladies interested in joining them.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
Revival started Sunday! The last night of revival is Wednesday night at 6:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to come hear the message by Tory Dardar and music by Broken Vessels.
Sunny Hill Baptist Church
Join them as they study the Lord's word on Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 10:00 AM and Worship at 11:00 AM. Sunday night service is at 6:00 PM, and Wednesday Bible Study at 6:00 PM. There will be an activity for children coming in October!
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
A Baby Dedication was held this past Sunday for Malachi Gonzales. He is the son of Casey and Mel Gonzales. It was certainly a blessed day as Malachi had his parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and church family there for the occasion.
Our Youth Revival is this weekend! Saturday, September 9th at 6:00 PM and Sunday, September 10th at 10:00 AM. Evangelist Micah LeClercq and the Puppet Pulpit will lead games, action songs, ventriloquist performance and more. Saturday night, there will be food and fellowship after the service. All ages are welcome!
The Young at Hearts will meet September 28th for lunch at Sugar Shack in Franklinton.
Congratulations to Kristen Parker and Ryan Hunt! They will soon exchange vows on September 30th, 4:00 PM, at Mt. Hermon UPC.
Mt. Hermon School
The Jackettes, MHS dance team, are selling Krispy Kreme donuts to help with the cost of uniforms. Order forms are in the school office, or you may order from any dance team member. The last day to order is September 20th.
*Thursday, September 7th at 5:30 PM is Beta Induction for elementary, jr. high and high school.
*Friday, September 8th is Picture Day. Individual pictures will be taken, as well as Kindergarten and Senior graduation pictures.
*Saturday, September 9th is the Zydeco Cross Country Track Meet. Good luck Yellowjackets!
*Tuesday, September 12th, the Juniors and Seniors will attend College and Career Day at Franklinton High School.
