Happy Fall Y'all! The temperatures are finally cooling down, I have my fall decorations out, and love bugs are starting to show up.
Silver Creek Campground is having a Glow Party Weekend September 22nd-24th. Saturday, the 23rd, is Fun Day! Beginning at 1 PM with shirt painting (bring a shirt), at 3 PM, meet in the game field for a neon treasure hunt, hula hoop chain, limbo and more. The Glow Party starts at 8 PM, at the pavilion. DJ'N with Myles will provide the music. It will be a fun weekend for the whole family!
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
Revival was last week with Tory Dardar and Broken Vessels, and it was great! They are now looking forward to their Georgia Barnett State Missions Week from September 12th-19th. They will also be collecting for the Baptist Children's Home Fall Food Round-up, which is going on through September 17th.
Bogue Chitto will return to normal church hours this week. Sunday school begins at 9:30 AM, worship at 10:30 AM, evening service at 5:30 PM and Wednesday night service at 5:30 PM. Everyone is welcome.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
Wednesday night activities are back on schedule! Supper is served at 5:30 PM. Prayer meeting, Disciple Kids and 3Six Teens youth class begins at 6 PM, and choir practice is at 7 PM.
The Women's Bible Study group resumes this Wednesday at 10 AM in the Education Building. They will begin a 3-week study on Habakkuk. Join them on September 13th, 20th and 27th.
Church-wide Peanut Boil will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at 5 PM.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
Kids Revival was this past weekend. The kids loved it, and the adults did too! Evangelist Micah Leclerq entertained with puppets, taught action songs and talked about salvation.
The Section 1 Ladies Fall Rally is Friday, September 29th at New Life UPC.
Sunny Hill Baptist Church
Everyone is welcome to join them to study the Lord's word on Sunday mornings for Sunday school at 10 AM and worship at 11 AM. Sunday night service is at 6 PM, and Wednesday Bible study at 6 PM. A new activity for the children will be coming in October.
Mt. Hermon School
It's Junior High Homecoming Week! September 13th-19th. Show your Jacket Spirit by wearing the following: Wednesday - wear camouflage, Thursday - Country vs. Country Club, Friday - Hero vs. Villain, Monday - American attire, and next Tuesday - wear black and gold.
Come out to support the jr. high football team as they take on the Varnado Wildcats. The festivities will begin at 5:30 PM, with the presentation of the court and crowning the Jr. High Homecoming Queen.
