Well, another Washington Parish Free Fair has come and gone, and what an amazing Fair it was! The weather was absolutely gorgeous! Now it's time to get ready for Fall Festivals and Trick or Treating.

Tristan turned 17 on October 20th! Sunday, we somewhat surprised him with a small get together of family and friends at his Maw Maw Rachel and Paw Paw Earl's house. Everyone had a great time, and Tristan is thankful for the ones who were able to attend.
Silver Creek Campground will have Halloween at the Creek this week. Bring the kids for lots of games, costume contest, haunted house, trick or treating and more. Activities begin Friday evening, 7-10 PM, with games at the pavilion. Saturday, 1-3 PM, more games on the game field. Trick or Treating through the park takes place 6-7 PM, followed by a haunted house tour, more games and music by the DJ.
MHS Fall Fest is this Friday, October 27th at 5:30-8:30 PM, on the football field. This is always such a fun event for the entire community!
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church will have their Fall Festival this Sunday, October 29th, 5-7 PM. Your presence is requested to join them to enjoy live music, a Gumbo Cook-off, cake walk and medieval themed activities.
Sunny Hill Baptist Church announces their winter hours, which will start this Sunday, October 29th. Sunday school begins at 9 AM, worship service at 10 AM, evening services and Wednesday night Bible study at 5 PM. Their 5th Sunday Dinner on the Grounds is this coming Sunday, the 29th. They invite you all to come and worship the Lord with them.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church is getting prepared for the children's Christmas musical. This year's theme is "Straight out of Bethlehem".
October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Be sure to let Pastor Randall and Sis. Suzonne Garcia know how much they are appreciated, not just this month, but all year!
