Christmas Drive Thru at the Creek will take place at Silver Creek Campground December 8th and 9th and 15th and 16th, from 6-8 PM. The cost is only $5.00 per car. Ride through their beautiful Christmas display, and see Santa, under the pavilion, at 6 PM each night.
If you have any Christmas decorations that you are wanting to part with, you may drop them off at the campground. Also, if you have a business and would like a spot to decorate and advertise, please call 985-514-1846.
The Mt. Hermon Christmas Parade is December 16th at 10 AM. Floats, vehicles, bicycles, motorcycles, 4-wheelers, horses or walkers are welcome. Line up is near Rawls Pharmacy from 9:15-9:45 AM.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
Thanksgiving was celebrated last Sunday after church. We are thankful for all the delicious food and to be able to spend time with our church family.
The youth group will be selling dinners after church on December 3rd. They are trying to raise money for summer camp.
There will be no Tuesday or Wednesday evening services this week.
We invite everyone to join us Sunday morning at 10 AM, for praise, worship and the message by Pastor Randall Garcia, and Sunday evening at 7 PM for the Hope Alive meeting. Arrive early at 6:15 PM, for food and fellowship. This coming Sunday is chip night, and a testimony will be shared. Hope Alive is a faith-based recovery for anyone with a hurt, habit or hangup.
The Young at Hearts will meet December 7th, 11 AM, at the home of Earl and Rachel Gill.
Our Christmas program is December 17th, during the morning service, with lunch to follow in the fellowship hall.

Mt. Hermon School
The MHS Junior class had their Class Ring Ceremony last Tuesday night. My son, Tristan Freeman, was one of the students to receive a ring. They were all very proud, and the rings were beautiful.
MHS Spirit blankets are being sold by the Lady Jacket Softball team. for $35.00. The size is 60x70 inches. There will be softball players at each home basketball game taking blanket orders.
The next home basketball game is Tuesday, November 28th ay 6 PM, playing against Independence.
Students return to school Monday, the 27th.
