The Mt. Hermon Christmas Parade was so much fun! It's a time to see people that you haven't seen in a while, and it really gets you feeling the Christmas spirit. Also, the rain held off until it was over. Special thanks to Darlene Lilly Garcia for coordinating this event!
A big thank you also goes out to Silver Creek Campground! They put in lots of hard work for the Christmas Drive Thru at the Creek, this past weekend and the weekend before. All the Christmas displays and lights were beautiful!

Congratulations to MHS Senior, Shunna Williams, for winning the Saints Scholar Athlete of the Week! Shunna was nominated by MHS track coach, Lynn Lewis. They attended Sunday's game where the Saints took on the New York Giants, received game passes and pregame sideline passes. Shunna was also presented with a $500 scholarship! At the end of the season, Shunna and Coach Lewis will attend a banquet for all weekly winners, which is only 18 athletes. Out of thousands of nominations, Shunna Williams was one of the chosen! This is such an honor! MHS is very proud of you!

The children and youth presented the Christmas program "Carol and the Belles" , this past Sunday. They all played their part wonderfully!
Church will be dismissed for this upcoming Sunday, December 24th. Join us Tuesday evening at 7 PM for prayer meeting and Wednesday evening at 7 PM for Bible Study and youth and children classes.

I would like to share a recipe with you all that is perfect for this time of year.
Christmas Eve Creamy Crockpot Hot Chocolate
Ingredients: 1.5 cups of heavy cream, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (14oz.), 2 cups of milk chocolate chips, 6 cups of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Directions: After putting all ingredients in the crock pot, turn on high for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
