Spring Greetings! Sunday, March 31st, was Easter Sunday, and was a glorious day. I pray you all had a great Easter weekend with your family and friends and attending the church of your choice.
We had a great week of revival March 18 through the 22nd at Mt. Pisgah Our guest speaker was Bro. Caleb Martin. We had several visits from his church, Ben's Ford. We had special music during the week. Thursday night Juiet, Melinda, and daughter Katherine sang. We truly had a week of spiritual blessings through the preaching and singing.
Sunday, March 24th we had our church family Easter potluck meal after the morning worship. We had two candidates for baptism. Praise the Lord. Everyone enjoyed a bountiful meal and fellowship. It was good to have several visitors that day.

The Student Art Show is on display at the D.A. Varnado Store Museum this month. I would like to encourage everyone to go by the museum to see all the beautiful art by the Washington Parish Students. I've seen the art, and it is really good. The museum is open every weekend, Saturday 10 am - 4 pm, and Sunday 1 pm- 4 pm. Don't forget to vote for your favorite for People's Choice. You can only vote for one each visit. If you want to vote for more than one, you will need to go every Saturday and Sunday during the month of April. Also be sure to sign their visitors' book. Every visit is greatly appreciated. By the way I went a couple times in March to see the quilts and the art.
Happy Wedding Anniversary to my dear friends Jack and Linda Whaley. They were married on April 16th, 1965. Hope you have a blessed day. Love from your family and friends.
Christian sympathy is sent out to the dear family of Mike and Ginger Lewis, residents of Mt. Hermon. Mikael (Mike) Arthur Lewis, 84, died Friday evening, February 23, 2024, at St. Tammany Hospital. Fourteen days later his dear wife Ginger Ann Ayers Lewis, 83, died Friday, March 8th, at Riverside Medical Center. They both were members of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, with burial in Mt. Pisgah Church cemetery. They are parents of three sons. The family appreciated the love shown to them. We were happy to have them in our community, our church, and will miss them very much.
Thought for the week! Let the roots of God's love in your life be intwined with others who need your support.
