Greetings,
Hopefully, this finds everyone doing ok. The weather has been a mixture of cold, windy, warm, and even some rain over the past several days. Hang in there, Spring is just around the corner.
Missions: Sunday began emphases on the Week of Prayer for North American Missions (home) and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. "United" is the theme. Prayer guides were given to everyone featuring seven missionaries, telling about their place of ministry and their needs for prayer. A goal of $400.00 was set for the offering. After the presentation, I asked Bro. Robert Heck to voice the prayer for this mission effort. The missionaries depend on our prayers as they take the gospel to a region of 366 million people where the spiritual and cultural divide are deep and growing. Only the love of Christ can bring true unity and transformation. The offering will be taken over the next few weeks.

Many of the residents in our community/area went to see parades of the Krewe of Pepe in Franklinton and the Krewe of MCCA in Bogalusa. The kids at school were excited telling me about going to the parades.
F.F.A. Week was celebrated last week at MHS. I was at school and got in on the fun activities. Dressing as a farmer was on Wednesday. Even I decided to dress as a farmer, therefore I needed some over-alls to wear. I got on the phone trying to locate a pair. Dusty Schilling came to my rescue and loaned me a pair of his. Being the first time to ever wear over-alls was a bit difficult, not to mention they were rather uncomfortable to say the least, but I made the day and was happy to get home to change clothes. At the end of the day, I was worn out. Some of the students were so cute in their farmer's outfit. It was a fun day for everyone. Maybe you saw my picture on Facebook ad were surprised. By the way, the F.F.A. teacher at Mount Hermon School is Mrs. Sandra Givens.
Please pray for the sick, shut-ins and those who have lost loved ones.
Thought for the week! The best place to find a helping hand is at the end of your own arm. --- Henry Ford.
