Well folks, we were blessed again! Our area did not get the bad weather, tornado, and hail that was predicted for this past Tuesday, March 22nd, although we did have some strong wind and rain. My power was off about 1 ½ hours, but thank the Lord, it came back on. Across the lake in the New Orleans area was lots of damage and power was out.
Barbara Burch invited me to go with her and her mom Evelyn to hear the Dixie Echoes. They were the featured guest at Mike Vaughn Ministries in Tickfaw. We really enjoyed the music by the Dixie echoes and Mike Vaughn. Mike invited everyone to come on the first Friday of the month.
I rode with my sister Jackie a couple Saturday's ago to McComb, Ms. We enjoyed a great meal at the Golden Coral. We were surprised to see our cousin Jeremy Ingram. This was a belated birthday treat for Jackie.

I've been subbing at school frequently lately. Lots had been going on. The Book Fair was last week and before that was Dr. Suess week and wearing all shades of green on St. Patrick's Day.
The MHS track team recently attended the Summer Track Meet. They all did an outstanding job. Congratulations to all the winners. Our very own young ladies Jaslyn Miller and Alexis Trahan were among the winners. We are proud of you.
Continue to pray for all the needs in our community and surrounding area. "Prayer is the Key".
*Correction* In last week's colunm it was supposed to read $5 per gallon, not $45.
Until next writing, take good care of yourself. Smile God loves you and so do I. Have a blessed week and be happy!
