Hopefully, all you mothers out there had a wonderful Mother's Day. Our mothers are to be praised. They are special in many ways. I sure do miss my mother. I have lots of great memories of her and will cherish them as long as I live. A mother's love is a very precious thing. By the way, did you know that in 1914 the first Mothers Day was proclaimed by Woodrow Wilson?
The Senior Adult Revival was held last week. Monday's service was at Hillcrest Church, Tuesday's service was at Enon, no Wednesday service, Thursday's service was at
Bogue Chitto church as well as the host. To sum up the spiritual week the last service was held at Franklinton Baptist Church on Friday.
Morning fellowship began at 9 am, choir practice was at 9:30 am and worship was at 10 am with lunch to follow. The host church was assisted by neighboring churches providing the meal. The Mt. Pisgah ladies provided the desserts. For those that attended received a blessing.
Leanna Kerbow recently celebrated her birthday at school with her student and friends. They enjoyed purple iced cupcakes.
