Greetings to all my faithful readers. First of all let me say how good it was to get some rain. Everything had gotten really dry. During September and October we got very little rain. Thank the Lord for the rain. Maybe he will see fit to send some more.
Happy belated wedding anniversaries to those who celebrated in October. Celebrating were Juliet and Malinda Schilling, Jeff and Rita Bankston, David and Jean Pate, Lane and Tricia Thomas, Jamie Kyle and Caitlin Morris, Charles and Rachel Landford, Willie and Jerry Ray Rawls. October 28th was mine and Jim’s anniversary. We were married in 1984. I sure do miss him.
Happy November birthday to the special ones who will celebrate their birthday. My great grandson Dylan Fitzmorris, my cousins Faith Terrell, Colton Terrell, Justin Ingram, and Dennis Ingram, Evelyn Burch, Faith Miller, Lainey Scardina, Becky Magee, Brittney Burch Lebo, Sikoya Dillon, Dot Kinlaw, Rhonda Johnson, Margie Barber, Thannie Conerly, Lori Motichek, Trevor Stafford, Rocky Burch, Douglas Miller, Leo Tate, Dalton Lourigan, Larry James, Diamond Pouncey, Jonathan Brumfield, Jared Lebo, Erica French, Jacob Singley, Jessie Michel, Melissa (Bankston) Corkern, Debra Freeman, Chris Hill, Randall Penton, Crystal "Pee Wee" Watson O'Bryant, Alvin Brumfield, Heather Rae Singley, Alyssa Faith Rando, and Clementine Wells.
The Mt. Pisgah women on Missions met in the church fellowship hall for their October meeting. First on the agenda was prayer request. Prayer was voiced. I did the program taken from "Our Daily Bread" entitled "Rooted in Love". Attending were Frances Schilling, Jean Folks, Janice Schilling and I. We enjoyed a time of fellowship and a variety of treats.
Please pray for the sick, shut-in, and those who have lost a loved one.
